All of the homes in Haymarket are convenient to all major commuting routes; route 15, 29, 66, 234 and 50. Two VRE train stations are also just a short drive from any of the homes in Haymarket.

To help to ease traffic around all the homes in Haymarket, the infrastructure is currently changing. Route 66 is being expanded from 2 to 4 lanes down to Haymarket, exit 40. Route 15, which runs just past Piedmont's and Dominion Valley's main entrance, and the largest number of homes in Haymarket, is being expanded from 1 to 2 lanes and Old Carolina Rd., which runs directly in front of Piedmont and the Parks of Piedmont, is also planned for expansion.
