the amenity filled communities and areas are great and the
prices are affordable. For the bargain hunters out there, there are, unfortunately, numerous
foreclosures and short sales to be found among the homes
for sale in Haymarket. Prices* for Single Family Homes (SFH's)
start in the $400,000's and many can be found in the $900,000
and up neighborhood. Townhouses can be found starting in
the high $200,000's - low $300,000's.

All of the
homes in Haymarket are convenient to all major commuting
routes; route 15, 29, 66, 234 and 50. Two VRE train stations
are also just a short drive from any of the homes in Haymarket.
To help to
ease traffic around all the homes in Haymarket, the infrastructure
is currently changing. Route 66 is being expanded from 2
to 4 lanes down to Haymarket, exit 40. Route 15, which runs
just past Piedmont's and Dominion Valley's main entrance,
and the largest number of homes in Haymarket, is being expanded
from 1 to 2 lanes and Old Carolina Rd., which runs directly
in front of Piedmont and the Parks of Piedmont, is also planned
for expansion. The opening of Heathcote Blvd at Catharpin
allows for the residents of Haymarket to access route 29
